Tattoos are very popular in China. It is called ‘Ci Shen' or ‘Wen Shen' in Chinese language that stands for ‘puncture the body' in English. Younger people are very much fond of tattoos. These are commonly seen in college or University campus, nightclubs and even on celebrity photos. The reason behind the tattoos' popularity is identified as Chinese symbolism. The tattoos' symbols gone with Chinese culture are very clean and simple that would express many things.
Chinese tattoos are sometimes designed embellishing the typical Chinese characters. These bear many subtle meanings as well. Though there have crazy about exotic Chinese tattoos in western world, sometimes people there do not know the actual meaning of some tattoos for their ambiguous designs. Sometimes Chinese idioms are to be translated into English for understanding their meaning and idea. This may be another reason why Chinese tattoo became so popular around the globe.
